Bachelor of Dialysis Therapy Technology
- Bachelor of Dialysis Therapy Technology (BDTT) is an undergraduate 4 year professional programme designed to prepare students for specialized roles in renal care and dialysis services. The course provides comprehensive knowledge and practical training in the functioning of kidneys, renal diseases, haemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, dialysis equipment, patient monitoring, infection control, and emergency management. Graduates are trained to assist nephrologists and other healthcare professionals in providing safe, effective, and quality dialysis care to patients with kidney-related disorders.
Eligibility:
10+2 with Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) from a recognized board.
Scope:
Graduates can work as dialysis technicians in hospitals, nephrology clinics,
and private dialysis centers. With experience, they can advance to supervisory
roles or pursue post-graduate studies in nephrology or related fields.
